H.R. 1586: Education Jobs and Medicade Assistance Act was signed into law on August 10th. Many in Utah are
cheering as Gov. Herbert and many state legislators are planning to accept the ‘grant’ money and strings attached to the bill. Most are not aware of the path this bill took from the House of Representatives through the Senate and finally to Pres. Obama for signature. Four verses to the Star Spangled Banner
We are very use to hearing the first verse of ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ during sporting events. Written in 1814, many of us forget there are actually four verses.
