Power positioning beyond our vote

Are you paying attention to the political news these days or are you simply glad the elections are over?  Many simply don’t want to be bothered with any more campaigns yet the major campaigns for all the power positions in legislative branches across the country are taking place right now.  It does not matter if you consider yourself an independent voter or if you do not want your representatives (agents and trustees) to play party politics because the campaigns and elections being held now do not care about you, these elections are all about power!

EduJobs Bill further erodes federalism in Utah

H.R. 1586: Education Jobs and Medicade Assistance Act was signed into law on August 10th.  Many in Utah areBaiting with education cheering as Gov. Herbert and many state legislators are planning to accept the ‘grant’ money and strings attached to the bill.  Most are not aware of the path this bill took from the House of Representatives through the Senate and finally to Pres.
