Before any of us realize it we will be facing our next round of state and
national elections. Many of our local elections are next month, don’t forget to get involved. Are we ready, focused, educated, and agitated enough for dedicated efforts to restore People’s Law in 2010? I believe we are.
We are looking at a daunting task if we launched any direct assault through marketing and campaign styles inline with our opponents’ dollar tradition. Turn locally within each precinct in search of liberty-minded candidates willing to serve a limited number of terms. Prepare to step in either this coming election or in the future so we can always deliver fresh, free will energy.
While we are at it may I suggest tailoring our Legislative Branches by trimming away the traditional party caucus position which have led us to two-party partisanship inside state and federal governments. These are our governing branches and we can demand removal of the 1900s tradition of titles leading to the creation of seniority, sorority mentality…there’s a tea party for you.
Party politics creates a factional, special interest driven system of governing. When a small number of factions control large amounts of power corruption occurs. This is not to say everyone in office, or near those who are, is corrupt or was corrupt prior to serving entirely too long in public office. Many involved in today’s progressive movement toward equal distribution are doing so with good intentions. Some in power are able to persuade good intended people away from freedom toward secured, even living nationwide. Looking over the past century, a very busy century when it comes to reversing our Constitution’s six goals, we see damaging effects from well meaning neighbors.
Remember, we are all neighbors whether we live in the next house, block, city, county, or state. Remember, government is nothing more than neighbors serving as representatives of all our interests. The most pressing interests are to be solved at the lowest level. Federal involvement is agreed upon under our contract with each other, known as the U.S. Constitution. Enforcement of our contract is our responsibility. We enforce it by serving as educated jurors when called upon, by talking with our neighbors about politics and the goals we should be striving for together, and by casting educated votes at every level, in every election. In other words we have the jury box, soap box, and ballot box. Get together with a few friends and talk to others who are unhappy with our current direction.
